যে কথা হয়নি বলা; মনপুরাকে ঢেলে সাজানো হচ্ছে পর্যটন স্পট হিসেবে, তবে আমার কাছে একেবারে সাধারণ লেগেছে এটাকে। বেশী লোক এটা টানতে পারবে বলে মনে হয় না।
মনপুরাকে বিদায় দিয়ে আমরা যাত্রা শুরু করলাম চরফ্যাশনের দিকে, অনেকদিনের শখ চরফ্যাশন যাব, জ্যাকব টাওয়ার দেখব; আল্লাহ সেই সাধ মিটিয়েছেন।
আমাদের লঞ্চ ৫ঃ০০ টায় ছাড়বে, জ্যাকব টাওয়ারের পাশেই লাঞ্চ করতে বসলাম। জ্যাকব টাওয়ারে উঠতে জনপ্রতি ১০০ টাকা লাগে, কিন্তু আমরা কাউন্টারে কাউকে পেলাম না; তালা মেরে দিয়ে চলে গেছে, জ্যাকব সাহেবের ব্যবসায় লালবাত্তি!
লাঞ্চ সেরে সেখান থেকেই আমিত্তি কিনে লঞ্চের দিকে এগোলাম। লঞ্চে প্রবেশ করতে গিয়েই থমকে দাঁড়ালাম; দুই লঞ্চের পক্ষে দুই দল এমনভাবে মানুষকে ডাকছে, মানুষ পারলে করুণা করে নিজেকে দুইভাগ করে দুই লঞ্চে তুলে দিত; একটা হলো তাশরিফ-৩, আরেকটা টিপু-১৪।
আমাদের টিকেট বুকিং ছিল টিপুতে, আমরা লঞ্চের কেবিনে ব্যাকপ্যাক রেখে আসরের নামাজ পড়ে বেরিয়ে পড়লাম, হাতে ৩০ মিনিট সময় আছে। ৭০ টাকা দিয়ে একটি ডাব কিনলাম; যেমন সুমিষ্ট এর পানি, তেমন সুমিষ্ট তার শাঁস।
এরপর চরফ্যাশনের বিখ্যাত গাছ গাছালির ছবি তুলে, সুন্দর বাধানো রাস্তার ছবি তুলে, লঞ্চের পানে এগোলাম। লঞ্চের ছাদে উঠে অস্তমিত সূর্যের পানে চেয়ে রইলাম। হিসেব মেলালাম, তেমন কোন আকর্ষণীয় স্পট গত দুই দিনে কোথাও ছিল না, তবু অসম্ভব ভালো লেগেছে এই ট্যুর!
মেঘনার হাঁটুজলে গোসলের আনন্দ, একের পর এক নানান কিসিমের খাবার খাওয়ার নেশা, সামীরের সাথে গল্পের ছলে মাছ ভাজা দেখার আনন্দ, মাস্টার হাসানের সাথে গল্পের মূহুর্তগুলি, আমার হ্যামকে আরাফাতের ঠেলা দিয়ে দোলানো, এসবই আমাকে আনন্দ দিয়েছে; আমার আনন্দের জন্য এর চেয়ে বড় উপকরণ আর প্রয়োজন নেই!
